K. Michelle is waving goodbye to R&B.

For years, the songbird – who has enjoyed ample success with soulful hits such as ‘VSOP’ and ‘Can’t Raise a Man’ – has made no secret of her desire to make a foray into Country music.

Before then, she’s toasting her career-long anchoring in R&B with the swansong album ‘I’m The Problem.’

Full story below…

It’s been announced that the LP is set for a September 22 release via MNRK Music Group.

Billed as an emotional journey, the project features singles ‘You,’ ‘Wherever the D May Land (WTDML),’ and Michelle’s first ever #1 Adult R&B single, ‘Scooch.’

News of the LP’s release date has come in tandem with the launch of new single ‘Blame Yourself’ and confirmation that the introductory Country track ‘Tennesse’ (a homage to Dolly Parton) will close out the album.
